We have begun our study of John the Baptist as our biblical example of a "way" maker - he is the one spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, the voice of one crying in the wilderness "prepare the way of the Lord!"
We reviewed the course plan, course objectives and explored our foundational scriptures. We are starting with Chapter 5 on Prayer from the book, Christ Compels Us. Tomorrow we are going to begin by exploring the role of prayer as it relates to preparing the way of the Lord in our own lives first. We will discuss the importance of inner healing before ministry, and the impact it has on our effectiveness as Ambassadors of Christ.
As we shared and closed in prayer, I had a sense that this is going to be a very special experience in this season. I feel God moving already and I can't wait to experience and share all that He has for us!
So check in regularly; you won't want to miss what God is doing in this end-time hour!!
