I juat returned from an amazing conference in sunny Lake Forest, CA. Saddleback Church, under the leadership of renowned Pastor and Author, Rick Warren, (The Purpose Driven Life) celebrated 20 years in the ministry of Celebrate Recovery. Celebrate Recovery, a ministry of inner healing authored and founded by Pastor John Baker of Saddleback Church, is an international ministry that has significant inroads into almost a hundred prisons and detention centers in the United States! CR is, at it's core, a ministry of spiritual and emotional reconciliation - a passion close to my heart - that addresses our hurts, habits and hangups based on a biblical course of study and prayer in an atmosphere of a safe community.
As a Way Maker, I know how important it is that we deal with our issues, our character defects, in order to be prepared and used of God in this end-time hour. Wounded people, wound people, but it is the will of God that we be ready to hold out the Word of Life and the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world, without being a stumbling block.
I am more committed than ever to God's purpose for my life to prepare the way of the Lord through the ministry of reconciliation!
