Preparing the Way of the Lord by Preparing the Way for Israel

Jerusalem:  The Capital of Israel and New Home to the American Embassy

Are you watching the events in the Middle East.  It is of vital importance that you understand the signifcance of these events in the life of the believer and the Body of Christ at large.  I have so much to say on this subject, but this one thing we need to be very clear on:  today's events have been spoken of by the prophets hundreds of years ago and the Word of God says that every "jot and tittle" of His Word - every single syllable - will be carried out to the letter.   Let me share with you from the scriptures.

I was reading Ezekial 37 and I read something I don't remember reading before.   Whenever I've heard a message preached on it, the focus was always on "the dry bones".  That's the most significant passage that gets all of the attention.  I never realized until now,

Gratitude

#givethanks
So grateful for the gift 🎁 of love, peace and the joy that comes only from God; it strengthens my soul and waters my spirit.  When I think of all the way He has brought my husband and I can’t help but to be filled with gratitude.  So much change, yet we remained secure in God; so much chaos without, yet our hope is anchored in God.

Last year was very difficult for me and my family, and at this time last year, we were facing so many challenges, I honestly didn’t know how we were going to make it through.  But what looked impossible became possible with God.  Not only did we make it, but we discovered the hand of God in our lives, and all the blessings that followed.

So I just want to encourage others:  “In EVERYTHING give THANKS, for this is the will of God concerning you.”  (1 Thess. 5:18) No matter what it looks like right now, God is in the midst of your circumstances and HE WILL bring you through!

Heal the sick, and tell them, ‘The Kingdom of God is near you now.’ But if a town refuses to welcome you, go out into its streets and say, ‘We wipe even the dust of your town from our feet to show that we have abandoned you to your fate. And know this—the Kingdom of God is near!’ I assure you, even wicked Sodom will be better off than such a town on judgment day.

Then he said to the disciples, “Anyone who accepts your message is also accepting me. And anyone who rejects you is rejecting me. And anyone who rejects me is rejecting God, who sent me.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭10:8-12, 16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Scripture also instructs us:  "Do not cast our pearls before swine." In other words,

A King or A Kingdom

"Therefore when Jesus perceived that they were about to come and take Him by force to make Him king, He departed again to the mountain by Himself alone."
John 6:15 (NKJV)

Jesus "perceived" - doesn't say God "spoke" to Him, but that He "perceived" (noticed; became aware of something through the senses).

Right after the miracle of feeding the 5k, the authorities of the day were about to come to take Him by force to be (their) King; but knowing this, Jesus immediately retreated to a place to be alone with God.

We must be careful that we don't allow people to try to use us for their own agenda.  When we don't know our purpose,
