Salt and Light

Salt and Light
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

Way Makers are called to be salt and light.  Saltiness, meaning that we are effective; we make a difference and without quoting chapter and verse, we bring to bear the influence of the Kingdom wherever we go.  Light meaning that we are examples of what it means to be a believer.  Our actions speak louder than our words, and when we do speak, we have something edifying to say - something of value.

The world is looking for an answer, and Jesus is the only answer; but how will they know if we don't introduce them to Him?  Prepare the way of the Lord by making the most of every opportunity to extend the love of Christ to a lost and dying world.  Amen!
