AGAINST SUCH, THERE IS NO LAW!

Read Romans 7

All things are lawful, but not expedient.


What shall we say then?  Because there's been a new law enacted in the land, that we should be anxious and disturbed?  Fret not because of evildoers!


Remember the law exists to expose sin.  It is the mirror through which we see what is "wrong".  It does not have the power to "change the heart".  That is the work of The Holy Spirit!  We cannot legislate matters of the heart.  Just because something is deemed legal/lawful, doesn't mean it is morally right.  The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus, has set us free from the Law of Sin and Death!

Have we forgotten who we are and whose we are?  Greater is He that is IN US, than he that is in the world!  And this is the victory that we have, even our faith!  Our faith in the true and living God, who is the sovereign, omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient GOD!  And beside HIM there is NO OTHER! Where sin abounds, grace does more abound!

Ambassadors for Christ are not to be anxious, troubled, disturbed - basically running scared because of the Supreme Court's decision.  No matter what law they pass, it will NOT change what is in the hearts of men.  So then just because same-sex marriage or abortion is legal, you who follow after righteousness are in no way required to participate or condone such.  Why waste your time trying to change behavior?  Change the heart of a man, and his behavior will follow.  We are not wrestling against flesh and blood! (Eph. 6:10)  This is a spiritual battle that must be fought and won in the Spirit realm.

All things all "lawful", but not expedient.  Just because something is legal doesn't mean it's moral. Anything goes" and any time is right according to the world; but in the Kingdom of God there is a STANDARD!  When the enemy comes in like a flood with his wicked schemes, God raises up a standard and it will not be overthrown!

So then what is the answer?

• Prayer: It's time to go to war in the spirit.  Ephesians 6:10-20
• Obediently fulfill our end-time assignment.  
• Be an example of the believer.  
• Prepare the Way of the Lord!  
• Preach the Word in season and out! 

We must demonstrate the love and power of God so that HIS LAW will be written on their hearts and they will turn back to God.  The Great Commission hasn't changed; His agenda is still the same.

Don't be ashamed of The Gospel; it is the POWER OF GOD, unto SALVATION!
